Cheryl Feese will present a trunk show of
unique quilts made from pre-printed panels. 
These panels can be much more than just
 a center with borders added. 
Come and see the unique results using
pre-printed fabric panels
and learn some tips to make your own.

Three Thrifty Quilters
These ladies have given up a lot but don't mess with
their quilting priorities or someone might get hurt. 
Even in tough economic times, they are still
spending money on two things--
quilting and quilting stuff.
Come and hear their tips on how they do it.
Bring any old books or pattens you'd like
to trade or swap out.
The Thrifty Quilters will organize them for
"swapping" at the August meeting.

Our quilting guest in August will be Kathy
Delaney.
Her program titled “TheChallenge - It’s a Mystery to Me”
takes an amusing look at guild challenges,
personal challenges, and mystery quilt
projects that Kathy has known.
Lots of quilts and lots of laughs!
Kathy will also teach a class on Tuesday called
“Applique the Celtic Way”.
This 6 hour class will give you all the information you
need to add to your applique and your design will really pop!
Kathy’s original design for this small wall quilt
 “The Boiler Tulip” is a perfect exercise to learn the
techniques and become familiar with the
process of accenting your applique the Celtic Way.
Workshop fee of $30.00 includes the pattern.

Calling all you CRAZY quilters! Sherrill
Lewis from the Bead Ranch will present
our program in September. The title of
her program is simply "Crazy Quilts" and
Sherrill will give a historic overview of
this form of quilting. She will bring
several 100 year old items as well as her
own creations. You may remember
Sherrill as a vender at our last quilt
show. She will also teach a 3 hr class
titled: CQ101 where she will teach the
sew-and-flip method of crazy quilting.
The class will be 1-4 PM on August 3
and fee is $25. The class with a kit is
$45.00 total. Contact me if you would like
