"Fire & Ice"

N&FQG paired up with the
Liberal Fire Department to help
purchase "Fire Pup" literature to teach 1,700
children in the classrooms about fire safety
by making quilts for display.

Quilts were displayed at First National Bank, Liberal, April 7-27.
"Voting" for a favorite quilt was accomplished by
purchasing tickets then depositing the tickets
into the corresponding numbered box.
Chair was Ginny Anderson.
Twenty quilts were on display:
RESULTS
At our May 4 meeting,
we were pleased to present a check for $1,000
and the "Fire Pup" quilt made by Luana Walker to
Skeety Poulton, Deputy Chief of Operations of the
Liberal Fire Department.
